3M FireDam Spray 200 is a sprayable material that forms a tough, elastic coating upon drying. It firestops building joints, curtain wall perimeters, and penetration seals to control the spread of fire, heat, smoke, and noxious gases. This water-based sealer is applied using conventional airless sprayers, dries swiftly, and cleans up easily.
- Offers up to 4-hour fire resistance in construction joints, adhering to ASTM E 1966 (UL 2079)
- Provides up to 3-hour fire protection in perimeter fire barrier systems, following ASTM E 2307
- Highly flexible sealer withstands compression/extension up to 50% of nominal joint width without cracking
- Withstands freezing and thawing for consistent sealing across various conditions
- Water-based formula for easy cleanup, saving time
