Product Description
A reversible collarless shirt made with original jacquard material from Japan. This item is recommended for the coming season with its cool material and drape. The reversible design, which utilizes different colors on the front and back, expands the range of styling options. The point is that it uses a breathable jacquard (*1) fabric, which was originally patterned and created in a factory in Fukui. It is a sustainable material using regenerated plant fibers. We have paid attention to detail, such as the covered buttons on the cuffs and the color scheme of the piping. The relatively loose silhouette is also a nice point as it doesn't easily show your body shape. The moderate length subtly covers the hips. We also offer the 【MATELASSE STRAIGHT PANTS】 in the same material, so we recommend wearing them together. (*1) A double-woven fabric used in traditional Japanese clothing since the Edo period. The feature is that different threads are used for the front and back to create the pattern, so the colors are reversed on the front and back. Because a bag-like space is created between the organizations of the double weave, it is called "futsu" (breathable) from the feeling of "wind passing through". It is woven in an old factory in Fukui.
