ATF D-III 20 L

A universal year-round synthetic based transmission oil (ATF) for automatic transmissions, hydraulic converters, hydraulic power steering systems, passenger car hydraulic clutches and other hydraulic devices, including those operating under heavy duty conditions in trucks and off-road vehicles. It ensures error-free operation of an automatic transmission, guarantees minimal wear, long transmission life and fuel economy. It has been developed according to the requirements of GM and Ford groups. Product features: - The high-quality synthetic base with low viscosity and a consistent high viscosity index combined with a multifunctional additive package preserves all its properties in a wide temperature range: it ensures good lubricating properties at low (-45 °C) temperatures in winter and ensures a stable oil film under extreme loads and high temperatures in summer; - The advanced combination of additives ensures good sliding properties for transmission clutches and required friction properties for abrasion elements, ensuring significant fuel economy, continuous and smooth transmission shifting and a longer life of all gear elements. It ensures coordinated and smooth operation of the couplings. It avoids friction. - It has increased thermal-oxidative and chemical stability and resistance to thermal degradation caused by high temperatures throughout its service life. It allows the reduction of paint, formation of mud, soot and other carbon deposits, increasing the time between oil changes and ensuring the durability of the gear components while reducing the maintenance costs of the equipment; - It effectively protects metal parts of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys (especially radiators) from corrosion, during operation and out of operation; - It successfully resists air pockets and foaming; - It ensures compatibility with all sealing materials, avoids swelling, hardening and shrinking, and therefore reduces the cost of spare parts and prevents leakage. It successfully protects fluoroelastomer seals in heavy equipment; - It reduces noise. It is recommended for automatic transmissions on cars and commercial vehicles where the ATF Type Dexron-III H/G/F or Dexron-II E or Ford Mercon LV quality oil is required. It is intended for the majority of General Motors, Ford Company and other brands automatic transmissions up to 2006. Colour: red.
