Hear the Call of This Powerful 8-armed Modulator The aptly named Black Octasource from Erica Synths is a many-tentacled LFO capable of unbelievably complex modulation. LFO rate can be synced to an external clock or manually with the bulky front-panel knob. The Black Octasource operates in two modes: SINGLE and MULTI. In SINGLE mode, a single waveform (selected with the WAVE knob) routes to each of Octasource’s eight outputs, with every sequential output phase-shifted 45 degrees. In MULTI mode, each output receives a separate waveform, and the WAVE knob shifts the waveforms between the outputs, creating ever-changing patterns that will spin you in circles.
