Product Description Jack Nuts by Hillman are economical blind fasteners designed for assembly line use in thin, soft, or brittle materials such as plastic and thin sheet metal. These fasteners match a 1/4"-20 machine screw and can be easily installed into a blind hole using a friction wrench (not included). When tightened, the body collapses to form four legs which grip the inside of the mounting surface, leaving a permanent, reusable threaded insert. Fastens securely despite burrs or an uneven substrate. Made of high-quality steel with a rust-resistant zinc finish.
