OPA3684

The OPA3684 offers unparalleled performance in low-power, wideband, current-feedback (CFB) amplifiers. It's among the first to employ an internal closed-loop input buffer stage, significantly enhancing performance over previous low-power CFB amplifiers. Retaining the benefits of low power operation, this new architecture provides many advantages of an ideal CFB amplifier. The closed-loop input stage buffer provides a very low, linearized impedance path at the inverting input, sensing feedback error current. This improves inverting input impedance, retaining exceptional bandwidth at higher gains and reducing harmonic distortion. Beyond high-gain applications, the OPA3684 CFB PLUS amplifier allows gain setting elements to be set with minimal interaction with amplifier bandwidth. This enables frequency response peaking elements, multiple input inverting summing circuits with greater bandwidth, and low-power line drivers to meet studio cameras and broadcast video demands. The OPA3684's output capability sets a new standard for low-power current-feedback amplifiers, delivering a full 4Vp-p swing on 5V supplies and having output current to support > 3Vp-p into 50.
