SAMUEL ZELIG sweatshirt. 100% cotton. Made in Japan using heavyweight cotton sweatshirt material. The fabric is firm yet soft. Inspired by sweatshirts from the 30s to 50s. The design is based on a cycling crew neck. Riders would wear them, apply patches, and customize them. This tells the story of a sweatshirt from a fictional cycling club. Features include a 1-inch neck rib, 3/16-inch cover stitching, and classic double V-rib gussets at the front and back of the neck. Set-in sleeves with a two-needle cover stitch seam construction for comfortable wear. Custom-made embroidered patches and chain stitch lettering are applied to the front and sleeves. The two-tone color blocking is reminiscent of the style of the time. In homage to authentic vintage, the cuffs and hem ribs are set at a height of 3 inches. The sweatshirt is colored to reflect aging, imagining it being worn many times like a vintage item and hung in the sun.
