This is a special piece featuring an appliqué made from vintage deadstock fabric on a TOUGHER heavyweight long-sleeve T-shirt.
The striped double thunderbolt appliqué is an accent.
The body is TOUGHER's standard "BREA".
It's a model that uses 7.5oz heavyweight fabric, with a classic thick binder neck and a seamless round body.
The fabric uses open-end yarn, which is spun without arranging the cotton wool, and is knitted on an old knitting machine, giving it a unique volume and a distinctive uneven surface, typical of American-made fabric.
Pigment dye is applied, and you can enjoy the aging process as the surface of the pigment rubs off and fades due to friction and washing during wear.
The shoulders and body width are roomy, while the length is made shorter, and the hem has ribs, creating a nice drape and slack at the hem when worn.
